Endometriosis
Endometriosis is a serious womens health condition in which your uterine lining grows outside the uterus. This growth commonly develops in the pelvis, on the outer uterus, the ovaries, fallopian tubes, and outer lining of the pelvis. In rare cases, extrapelvic endometriosis growth can occur in the gastrointestinal tract, unary tract, nasal mucosa, and other odd area.
SYMPTOMS
Painful Menstrual Periods
Chronic Pelvic pain
Pain During Sex
Pain with Urination
Pain with Bowel Movements
Infertility

What Are My Treatment Options?
In some cases, traditional or bioidentical hormone replacement therapy can normalize menstrual cycles and alleviate many of the symptoms of Endometriosis. While oral medications can help the pain, it doesn’t address other symptoms, making it a short term solution. To get lasting results, endometriosis requires surgical treatment to remove the endometrial growth. A minimally invasive laparoscopic surgery can be performed, and in some cases, a robotic hysterectomy is required.
